Eligible candidates are invited to attend a walk-in-Interview with all relevant documents for the temporary post of Young Professional-1 (01 No.) (on contractual basis) to work in Fish Behaviour Laboratory at Fishing Technology Division of ICAR-CIFT, Cochin. The duration of the contract is up to 31st December, 2024.
Young Professional-l : 1 Post
Emoluments of YP– Rs.30,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Essential Qualification : Bachelors’ Degree in Fisheries Science/Zoology/ Environmental Science
Desirable Qualification : Post-graduate Degree in Fisheries Science/ Marine Biology/ Industrial Fisheries.
Experience : Hand-on experience in experiments related to fish behaviour and morphology, experience in on-board data collection and experience in rearing fish in aquaria. Excellent writing skills in English.
Age limit: Candidates should be above 21 years and maximum of 45 years as on date of interview. Age relaxation as per rules.
Terms & Conditions:
1. Registration will begin at 9.00 a.m. and will close at 10.00 am.
2. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates is permissible.
3. Candidate should possess 1″ class or 60% marks or equivalent overall GPA
4. Candidates are required to submit detailed bio-data (in the enclosed format) affixing a recent passport size photograph alongwith attested copies of all the Certificates in support of their claims regarding age, educational qualifications, experience, Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/OBC etc. The original certificates shall be produced for verification before the interview.
5. The candidate should at least hold a Provisional Certificate in r/o. Graduation/ Professional Courses. (website results/ result awaiting candidates will not be considered)
6. The selected candidate will be recruited on contract basis under ICAR norms. The post is purely temporary.
7. The candidate attending the interview should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates for selection/test/appointment.
8. Candidates already employed should submit “No Objection Certificate” from the present employer while attending the interview.
9. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
10. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the post.
11. The decision of the Director, CIFT will be final and binding in all aspects regarding the selection to the post.
